Nonduality

Resident DJ

Matt Goldsmith’s earliest memory is dancing to The Beatles’ The Ballad of John and Yoko with his family in California. Since then, he’s evolved alongside his love of music: from recording guitar covers in the early days of YouTube, to a complete obsession with dubstep during his university days.

He moved to Berlin in 2015 to work at Native Instruments as a software developer. Armed with a love of deep house via early 2010’s Anjunadeep and immersed in Berlin’s rich dance music scene, he created his Nonduality alias to explore the genre further.

Since then, he’s released on an array of seasoned underground dance labels, including Inhale Exhale, Apparel Music, House Salad Music, Front Left, and Raumer 9. His music pulls from his eclectic taste, sounding heterogeneous, yet unified by a thread of depth, sound design, and groove.

His relationship with Floppy Disco began at a bar in Kreuzberg, where he met Carmine, a.k.a. Crimson Lake. They quickly connected based on their love of house, DJing, and electronic production. Now, Nonduality serves as Floppy Disco’s resident DJ, tirelessly digging for garage, disco, and classic house gems to share at their legendary parties.
